Braden helped Meena make Emily's favorite cake and frosted himself also...he did a great job!
Then of course the 2 boys had to help her blow out all the candles...
Then Meena C read the two boys a book...Keegan was very interested in getting the book in his mouth ;)

I went to Bunco tonight for a little *Me* time and when I got back at 11:00pm this is what I found! I thought maybe Chris had gone in there later and laid down, but nope, he had been asleep with Braden since 8:30...too cute!!
This is Braden's *camera phone* and he was trying to take my picture while I was taking his picture...he was really concentrating hard!!!
I'm not quite sure what they were playing here...but they were sure having fun enjoying a little Daddy and son time!
Braden decided it was his turn to give daddy a hair cut! He thought he was pretty hot stuff...and he made a big mess in my bathroom again!
Well today I'm turning over a new leaf! Our house is just way too cluttered and it is starting to bug me....or has bugged me for awhile, but I haven't done anything about it. So I logged on to FlyLady for some tips...she's all about curing you of CHAOS (Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome) and I definitely have that more days than not. So I'm going to try to follow some of her ways...the very first thing you are supposed to do is Shine your Sink...so that is what I did...and look how clean it is?!?!?! I was amazed! So ask me in a few weeks how I'm doing...and if my sink still looks like this!
Getting ready for the Valentine's party tomorrow. This was the first time I had to actually do Valentine's for Braden! Of course he picked CARS valentine's with tatoos!
Today was "Daddy's Day" at preschool! Chris got to go and enjoy a day full of songs, games and snacks! Braden thought it was pretty cool that Daddy came to school with him. He even got to wear this "World's Greatest Dad" ribbon! Awwww...how sweet!
After all the company leaves our house, Braden gets a little sad...so we cheered him up with a hot fudge sundae from McDonalds after dinner! Both he and I had our jammies and slippers on...he thought it was pretty funny!
Here's some great friends who got together on this freezing night to do a little scrapbooking! We got a few pages done and stayed up till 4 am talking...it's good to have good friends! Love you all! Thanks D for your hospitality!
Look who came to visit! Uncle John and Aunt Katie (and PopPop Dirk and Meena K too) John didn't even have time to take his jacket off before Braden put both of them to work! They were sure good sports all weekend, building cars and ordering food from the kitchen! Thanks guys!!!
In preparation for a night of scrapbooking coming up with friends...I vowed to finish Braden's 1st year scrapbook..so here it is! DONE! Yeah yeah, so I'm a "little" behind, but I'm working on it! Hopefully I'll get more done this Saturday with some great friends!!!
Well we got about 9 inches of snow between yesterday and today! Braden and I ventured out to play for a few minutes before the freezing wind whipped up! He had a hard time walking inthe thigh high snow, but wanted no help at all! I'm glad he loves the snow and being outside...but Mommy is sure sick of the beautiful snow!!!
Well the line was VERY long at the car wash today...they all must want to get clean before the big snow comes tomorrow!
I just love how much he studies his cars and trucks...thank goodness my kitchen floors were relatively clean...
Tonight we watched the Superbowl at Jill, Brooks and Gavin's house! The boys had a great time playing (due to sicknesses they haven't been around each other as much as they are used to!) Here Braden and Gavin are enjoying a cookie, they were told to stay on the hardwood...but still wanted to see the t.v. so they got as close to the carpet as they could!
Well Chris felt bad that there were no donuts with sprinkles today when he stopped to get Braden one...so instead he got him the BIGGEST donut he could find...and he almost finished it all! He does like his donuts!

I had my first Family Teams Committee meeting tonight! I am co-chairing it this year and I have a great bunch of women working with me! We hope to make this years March for Babies (formerly WalkAmerica) the best yet!
