First Haircut & Playing OUTSIDE!!

Our long time family friend Cheryl W. gave Blake his first haircut today! She has cut all of our hair and gave Braden his first cut too! We trimmed up the back, but left most of the curls :)

He did so well - wasn't too impressed - but sat through the whole thing like a big boy!!

Thanks Cheryl - we love it that we could make this a family tradition!!

And today was SOOO NICE outside that Blake finally got to play outside...he couldn't stop squealing and smiling and laughing - he was LOVING it!!

Great Grandma got to come for dinner too and Braden did a great job helping her and Meena C dry the dishes!!

March 16 - Headed to Nebraska

We were sad to say good-bye! We had such a good time with our buddies!! One last picture before getting in the car for the 5+ hour trip to Nebraska!!

Pretty sure Blake gets his crazy hair from Uncle Adam! Thought we'd get a "before" shot since Blake is going to get his first haircut tomorrow!!

The fun continues - March 15

Day 2 of Spring Break!
We headed to Bonkers so the boys could run wild (and they did) and ate some yummy pizza!!

Start of Spring Break

The boys and I started off our Spring Break by heading down to Missouri to spend a few days with our good friends Angie and Josh and their son Ethan! Angie and I were roomies in college and have stayed close since! Lindsay (our other roomie) was able to come down for dinner Sunday night with her daughter Grace - it was awesome to chat and catch up with my girls!!

Grace and Blake playing! They are almost exactly 5 months apart! I actually told Lindsay that I was pregnant when I visited her in the hospital the day Grace was born!
