Our last day!

So we were supposed to be on the road today - but we just couldn't leave on a gorgeous day like today - so we decided we would stay for one more day and head back tomorrow!
An early morning boat ride before the lake got crowded!

Once again it was sad to say good-bye to Torch Lake. It is so relaxing and peaceful up there - just what we needed!

Day 7

Today was a little too cool for a beach day so we headed into Traverse City for a little shopping (this is how the boys entertained themselves while we shopped!) Then the big kids went and did a little wine tasting - love mesome Black Star Farms

We figured it was a perfect night for a fire on the beach - the boys really enjoyed it and we even had s'mores!

Day 6 - Windy Day

Headed to the Dockside for drinks and appetizers. Always a good time and a great view!

Blake enjoyed all the activity of the boats coming and going!

Such beautiful calm water in the morning - so peaceful!

John's birthday present to Braden was a big hit! A remote control boat! I think it kept the older boys occupied too :)

Torch Lake Michigan - Day 1

After driving 10.5 hours through the night we arrived at Torch Lake at around 8:30am! It was a little dreary on our first day, but the boys still couldn't resist getting in the water!
