Busy, Busy day!!!

Chris took the whole day off from work today so we decided to take advantage of it and we went to see Santa today! It was great, no lines, no hassle and Braden did great! This is the first time we have really gone somewhere to talk to Santa (last year Santa came to a friend's house) so I wasn't sure if he would do it or not! But he got up there and told him everything that he would like - he also had to make sure that he told him he would be in Nebraska on Christmas - he didn't want the presents to get left in Iowa!

Then he got the WHOLE train to himself and got to sit in the front and he rang that bell the ENTIRE 5 minute ride - I'm sure the lady running the thing must go a little batty by the end of the day!

We then had lunch at the mall - headed back to drop Braden off at school - and Chris and I headed down for our 20 week doctor's appt to see *Coookie*

Things looked ok - with a few things we are keeping our eye on. We will start doing ultrasounds every 2 weeks to keep on top of it all. Cookie slept the entire one hour ultrasound - I swear, stubborn just like HIS brother :)

He is going to hate me for this some day - but Cookie was not shy!
Here's his little alien face! He was too busy sleeping to show us good pictures of his heart and spine, but the brain looked good - we'll check out the other things on the 18th!

Here was Braden's reaction when we told him that Cookie was indeed the Brother that he had been asking for! Not that he ever had a doubt - but he is ecstatic to say the least!
