Today, or should I say tonight, we left for our family vacation to the beautiful Torch Lake in Michigan. As you can see, it is pitch black out the car windows. That is because we left at 9:30pm CST. We decided to do this at around noon today, we figured that way Braden would sleep most of the day and we could add another day at the beach instead of getting there at dinner time on Saturday. I was a little leary at first, but it really worked out great...it would work better if I could sleep in the car, but Chris and I did fine and I'll drive around Chicago anytime at 2:30am, it was great, barely a car in sight! We made record time and showed up around 8:30am Michigan time! Now a little rest and relaxation is in the cards!!!
