December 31 - Happy New Year's Eve

I dreaded today. We had to take Blake to the hospital to get some tests done today and I wasn't looking forward to it. He had chest x-rays, bone age x-rays, blood work and a head MRI done. It wouldn't have been horrible, but he had to be put out and intubated for the head MRI. It was scary and hard, but he did great! He charmed the pants off everyone around him all morning long and came out of the MRI like a trooper. He was having these tests done to see if we could find any underlying reason for his poor growth. We won't have any of the results until at least Monday - man I hate waiting!!

Then tonight we headed over for a quiet evening with our friends Jill and Brooks and their boys. Gavin and Braden played all night long and Blake was interested in Bennett (or at least interested in climbing all over him!) We made it home about 10:30 and Chris and I watched the ball drop at 11pm - wow we are exciting :)
